Las Vegas Motor Speedway will partner with local charity 10,000 Kids Inc. for the “Give a Day, Get a Day” program on Thursday, June 17.

More than 80 registered kids will meet to help clean up vandalism in their local neighborhood. For their work, the participants each will receive a free ticket to the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series races at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Saturday, June 19. Local drivers and LVMS staff members will be on hand to help kids make a difference. The youngsters who participate in the program will be recognized prior to the start of the racing action that evening.

“We have organized this event alongside Las Vegas Motor Speedway to get kids involved in different activities in the valley,” said Kevin Child, area coordinator at 10,000 Kids, Inc. “The neighborhood will get cleaned up, kids will be able to interact with partners in the community and you never know, one of these kids could grow up to be a NASCAR driver. It is a great way to encourage everyone to come out and show kids that what they do in their community has value.”

Participants will meet at 9 a.m. on Thursday near the corner of Cheyenne Avenue and Jones Boulevard.
