The Mountain Ridge Little League All-Stars captured the hearts of Southern Nevadans last month during their historic appearance in the Little League World Series. Now they will hold the attention of the starting field for the Rhino Linings 350 NASCAR Camping World Trucks Series race on Sept. 27 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The players from the first team from Nevada to advance to the Little League World Series will give the command for the drivers to start their engines when they serve as grand marshals for the Rhino Linings 350.

"The way the Mountain Ridge Little League All-Stars pulled this community together in their run to the Little League national championship game was truly inspiring," LVMS president Chris Powell said. "We can think of no better way to honor what these young men have accomplished than by allowing them to give the command to start the Rhino Linings 350 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway."

Las Vegas Motor Speedway is making tickets to the Rhino Linings 350 available to all 24 Little Leagues throughout the Valley as to way to help honor Little League Baseball. Little Leaguers and their parents who are interested in attending the race are encouraged to contact their league representative.

The Rhino Linings 350 will take the green flag at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27 on the 1.5-mile LVMS superspeedway. Tickets for the race are available by calling 1-800-644-4444 or by visiting www.lvms.com. All tickets include free admission to the Neon Garage.
