NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers Jeremy Mayfield, Kyle Busch, Bobby Labonte, Greg Biffle, Clint Bowyer and David Ragan are scheduled to headline the NASCAR Driver Auction at Sam's Town Live!, inside Sam's Town Hotel & Gambling Hall.  Biffle and Ragan are appearing through the Coca-Cola Family of Drivers, Bowyer is participating courtesy of Jack Daniel's.

The 10th annual event is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 28 at 6 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Las Vegas Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities.

Race fans will have the opportunity to bid on a ride around the speedway in the bed of a pick-up truck with their favorite NASCAR Sprint Cup Series star during driver introductions prior to the start of the UAW-Dodge 400 at LVMS on Sunday, March 2. Fans also will have the opportunity to ride with their favorite NASCAR Nationwide Series driver during pre-race parade ceremonies prior to the start of the NASCAR Nationwide Series Sam's Town 300 on Saturday, March 1.

The gala also features a silent auction with a variety of racing and non-racing items including autographed team uniforms, race-car sheet metal and tickets to various shows in the Las Vegas area.

Last year, the auction raised more than $160,000 for the children of Las Vegas and southern Nevada. To date, the driver auction has raised nearly $1 million. Last December, the Las Vegas Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities granted $315,000 to 64 local children's causes during its annual grant distribution ceremony.
