Photographer Ralph Stewart passed away at home Monday, June 15, at age 73.
Ralph loved The Strip at LVMS, the Bullring and the superspeedway and photographed races here for nearly a decade. His photos were seen in the World of Racing newspaper.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a 30-year resident of Las Vegas.
Ralph is survived by Pat, his wife of 53 years; sons James, John and Jerrold; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A viewing was held from Friday, June 19, at the Davis Funeral Home in Henderson and he was laid to rest on Saturday, June 20.
On Saturday night, June 20, a moment of silence was observed in Ralph's memory.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in his name to the American Heart Association.
We will miss Ralph. May he rest in peace.
