The NHRA Las Vegas Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will host some of the most exciting racing of the season. In addition to great racing, LVMS has planned activities off of the quarter-mile strip for all ages.

SCC "Cards for Kids" Poker Tournament, Wednesday, Oct. 28

NHRA Fanfest on Fremont Street, Thursday, Oct. 29, 6-8 p.m.

Many of the top stars of the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series will be on hand to sign autographs. In addition, there will be live music, show cars on display and several interactive activities for fans of all ages. The event is free and open to the public.

Kids Halloween Costume Contest, Saturday, Oct. 31, 2:30-3:30 p.m.

Kids are invited to attend the NHRA Las Vegas Nationals to participate in the annual Halloween costume contest. Prizes will be awarded to the best boy and girl costumes in three different age groups. Judging will be held in the midway on Saturday.

Kids Trick-or-Treating, Saturday, Oct. 31

In addition to the costume contest, kids are also invited to trick-or-treat for candy Saturday at the race teams' haulers in the pits between the first and second Nitro Qualifying Sessions (scheduled from approximately 1:30-3:30 p.m.). There also will be trick-or-treating at the Bullring on Saturday night. 

NHRA Las Vegas Nationals Canned Food Drive, Friday, Oct. 30 through Sunday, Nov. 1

LVMS is asking guests to participate in a canned food drive benefiting the City Mission of Las Vegas. Bring your canned food donations to any ticket gate and help feed a family during the holidays!
