More motorhome spots available for NASCAR Weekend in Las Vegas

Race fans who desire to watch the races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway from the comfort of their motorhomes will have more opportunities than ever this year.

The speedway announced Wednesday that more motorhome spots overlooking the speedway in Turn 3 are now available for the March 10-12 NASCAR Weekend.

"The construction of the 17,000-seat Richard Petty Terrace has increased our permanent seating capacity dramatically," said LVMS general manager Chris Powell. "The additional permanent seating means we no longer will need to construct the bleachers outside Turn 3. That is prime real estate for today's luxury motorhomes. And for the increasing number of fans who choose to stay on the property during our event weekend, this is a perfect opportunity. LVMS remains one of the most 'motorhome friendly' speedways in the sport."

A limited number of these spaces is available by calling the speedway ticket office at 1-800-644-4444. In addition to the motorhome spot, purchasers will receive six wristbands for guest admittance to this motorhome area as well as six grandstand tickets for the Sam's Town 300 NASCAR Busch Series event on Saturday, March 11.

Some seats remain for the March 12 UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 NASCAR Nextel Cup event and the Sam's Town 300. Three-day pit passes, pre-race activities passes and Lucky 7 parking passes also are available through the LVMS ticket office.
