Las Vegas turns out winners every day and Tony Stewart says he's no exception. The 2005 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series champion says that NASCAR Preseason Thunder Las Vegas will not only give him an advantage for the UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 in March, but also will bring out the champions in his team. "We have a team that's capable of winning a championship this year because we don't have to rely on what made us successful last year," Stewart said.  "We can take a new set of circumstances and pinpoint all of the variables to find a new combination that works for us on the race track." Stewart says that the test at Las Vegas Motor Speedway is very important because it gives the team an idea on what to expect at other west coast tracks. "It's a real important track in terms of balance," said Stewart. "The corners are tighter. Because the corners are tighter, it makes it really important that the (car) rolls through there free, not tight or loose." The test also will mark Stewart's first test of the year. He skipped Daytona testing to compete in the Chili Bowl Midget and Sprint Car race earlier this month. Stewart will join more than 40 other drivers at LVMS January 30-Feb. 1 for NASCAR Preseason Thunder Las Vegas. The public is invited to watch the test sessions free of charge each day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets for the March 10-12 NASCAR Weekend are available by calling 1-800-644-4444 or logging on to Here is a tentative list of test dates and drivers: Jan. 30-31: Clint Bowyer, Jeff Burton, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Robby Gordon, Jeff Green, Kevin Harvick, Dale Jarrett, Travis Kvapil, Mark Martin, Jamie McMurray, Elliott Sadler, Hermie Sadler, Ken Schrader, Brent Sherman, Reed Sorenson, David Stremme, Martin Truex Jr. and Scott Wimmer.
