The hit country music group Trick Pony and John Schneider, best known for his role as Bo Duke on the "Dukes of Hazzard" TV show will sing the National Anthems for the UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 and Sam's Town 300.

Trick Pony, which was voted the "Top New Vocal Group" be the Academy of Country Music in 2001, will perform "The Star Spangled Banner" prior to the start of the ninth annual UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 NASCAR Nextel Cup race. At the conclusion of the Anthem, the United States Air Force Thunderbirds will perform a flyover in their famous "Delta Formation."

Schneider, who has appeared in many Broadway productions and has recently appeared on the TV show "Smallville," will sing the National Anthem for the Sam's Town 300 NASCAR Busch Series race.

"It's always an honor to have the opportunity to sing this great song, but never so much as when I get to sing it at the most American of all sporting events - a NASCAR race," Schneider said.

The hit country band Thunder Road again will perform for one hour as part of the UAW-DaimlerChrysler pre-race show. And for the third consecutive year, Robin Leach will be the master of ceremonies for the Nextel Cup event. Leach is best known for his longtime role as host of "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous."

Tickets remain available for the March 10-12 NASCAR Weekend. Tickets also are available for the March 9-10 World of Outlaws events on the half-mile dirt oval.
