Las Vegas Motor Speedway is giving race fans a head start on buying the tickets that offer the best views of the speedway's new 20-degree banking and reconfigured pit road.  Seats in the Dale Earnhardt Terrace and Richard Petty Terrace for the 2007 NASCAR Weekend are now on sale.

"We have completed the renewal process for seats in both of these grandstands," said LVMS general manager Chris Powell. "Many of the seats in both of these areas have been renewed, but there also are good seats available. The Earnhardt Terrace has been open for three years, and we opened the Petty Terrace this past March. Both have been met with many positive reviews by the fans who have sat there."

The views from both grandstands will be even better in 2007. The speedway's new pit road is 250 feet closer to the frontstretch grandstands, and banking in the turns is increasing from 12 to 20 degrees.  The project will enhance the sightlines in the Earnhardt and Petty terraces, bring the pit-road action nearer the fans and should make the racing more competitive.

"The changes we're making to the speedway are creating a higher demand for tickets than ever before," Powell said. "This is the best opportunity for race fans to make sure they get good seats for the first race at the 'new' Las Vegas Motor Speedway."

Seats in the rest of the main grandstand will go on sale in September.
