Aside from a handful of available singles, the UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway is a sellout.

"The demand for NASCAR tickets in Las Vegas confirms once again that Las Vegas Motor Speedway is the premier destination on the NASCAR circuit," said Chris Powell, general manager of LVMS.  "This year we've sold out of Sunday's event earlier than any other year.  Obviously, the buzz that's been created by raising the speedway's banking and the building of the Neon Garage has spurred an unprecedented level of interest."

Tickets do remain for Saturday's Sam's Town 300 NASCAR Busch Series race as well as Pole Day on Friday, March 9.

One option for fans to see the UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 is the newly built Blackjack Club, which occupies the third floor of the new infield media center.  A few Blackjack Club passes are available, and they include food and beverage throughout the weekend.

Since last March's race, construction crews have raised the banking in the turns from 12 to 20 degrees, moved pit road 275 feet closer to the grandstands, constructed the new Neon Garage and built a new media center.

"Everyone at the speedway is excited about all the improvements that have been made here over the past year," Powell said. "Now it appears that we'll have a record crowd to see all these wonderful additions."
LVMS's ticketing partner, TicketMaster, offers another possibility for fans who don't want to be left out of the UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400.  TM's "TicketExchange" can be accessed through the LVMS website (lvms.com).  Fans who've already purchased tickets to the event have an opportunity to sell unneeded tickets on TicketExchange.

For those fans already in possession of tickets, a few passes into the Neon Garage remain available, as do the always-popular pre-race activities passes.

Tickets for Qualifying Day and the NASCAR Busch Series Sam's Town 300 may be purchased by calling the LVMS ticket office at (702) 644-4444 or online at www.LVMS.com.
