Dale Jr.'s South Point Jackpot is full.

Las Vegas Motor Speedway's unique promotion tying 2009 NASCAR Weekend ticket renewals to Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s quest for the 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup title has ended more than 72 hours prior to Sunday's scheduled deadline.

By 10 a.m. (PST) Thursday, race fans had renewed the 8,888 tickets for the 2009 NASCAR Weekend. Should Earnhardt win the 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship, the price of all 8,888 tickets for the 2009 spring Sprint Cup event at LVMS will be refunded to those fans who entered the promotion. Speedway officials announced last week the contest would run through the scheduled start of Sunday's Daytona 500 (12:30 PST) or until the first 8,888 tickets were renewed.

Further renewals for the 2009 spring NASCAR Weekend at Las Vegas will resume later this spring.
