Las Vegas race fan Elmer Jenkins is making sure everyone at the Bullring this Thursday will feel a little more patriotic. Jenkins has donated 4,000 American flags to be distributed to race fans and teams. Last year, Jenkins donated 800 ¿United We Stand¿ T-shirts that were passed out to fans at the Night of Fire. Everyone will receive a flag at the gates in which will open at 5:30 pm. In addition, Rick Cobb from RC Racing Decals, is donating hats, T-shirts, and stickers autographed by Kyle Busch, who will be competing in both the Super Late Model event and the Legends Cars. There also will be T-shirts given away throughout the night courtesy of Gilley¿s and racer Stoney Gray. New Pit Crew Kids Club members who sign up this Thursday evening will have the opportunity to win a party for six from Las Vegas Mini Grand Prix. The prize pack includes one slice of a one topping pizza, a soft drink, four game tokens, and one ride ticket. The Pit Crew Kids Club is free to children ages 5-12. New members can sign up underneath the Bullring grandstands from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday night. Racing starts Thursday night at 7:15. Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, a demolition derby, jet car burn and fireworks show also are on the schedule.
