Sarah Chelberg posted another victory at the Bullring this past Saturday evening with her first-place finish in the Bandolero Cars 15-lap main event. Saturday¿s win was the second of Chelberg¿s sophomore season at the Bullring. The 12-year-old began racing just this year in her No. 24 Bandolero Cars. She passed Kyle Huender with ease mid-way through the feature and was able to hold the lead throughout the remainder of the race. ¿It¿s cool to be here again and to get another trophy,¿ said a very calm and collected Chelberg in victory lane. ¿I didn¿t think I would be winning this early, but my mom and dad have been helping me a lot, and we¿ve been doing all right so far.¿ Chelberg is second in points so far season, but is slowly chipping away at the lead, which is currently held by Jeremiah Wagner. Sarah is one of only three girls on the Bandolero Cars roster this season at the Bullring, but is definitely the only one in contention for a championship in the division. She is also one of only four drivers in the division to compete in all six races so far this year. Sarah Chelberg will go up against the other Bandolero Cars for her third win of the season this coming Saturday at the Bullring following an on-track driver autograph session, which will begin at 6:30. General admission is $11 for adults, $9 for senior citizens/ military personnel and $4 for children 6-12. Children five and under are free. A Family Four Pack can be purchased for $24. Admission to the Stockyard is $36 per vehicle (up to four people). Pit gates open at 3:30 p.m. Admission is $20 for NASCAR members and $25 for non-members.
