The Bullring, Las Vegas Motor Speedway's paved 3/8-mile short track, received the Best Achievement in Community Service award by NASCAR on Saturday. NASCAR honored its top short tracks with NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series "team player" awards. The Bullring's drivers participated in several community events during the 2005 season including Nevada Reading Week, Nevada Career Days, and the Hemophilia Pediatric Clinic. "We are extremely proud of our drivers and the time they invest in helping others in the Las Vegas community," said Mike Stafford, LVMS' manager of short track racing. Several drivers already have committed to 2006 Nevada Reading Week in March and will continue to participate in events throughout the community. The Bullring's 2006 racing season opens on Saturday, March 25. Divisions racing will include Super Late Models, Late Models, Chargers, IMCA Modifieds, Legends Cars and Speed Trucks.
