Dollar menus have been associated with fast food for several years. Starting this Saturday, the dollar menu will join fast cars.
Las Vegas Motor Speedway officials and its concession partner Levy Restaurants have instituted a $1 menu at the Bullring beginning with this weekend's edition of the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series.
"A family needs to be able to spend a Saturday night out without breaking the bank to do it," said LVMS general manager Chris Powell. "These $1 menu items will allow race fans to enjoy the excitement of NASCAR without having to spend a great deal of money. It will be much cheaper for a family of four to come to a race at the Bullring than go to a movie. We appreciate the cooperation of Levy Restaurants in putting this new menu together."
The $1 menu will include 12-ounce draft beers, 12-ounce fountain sodas, mini burgers, hot dogs, fresh popcorn, flavored jumbo pretzels, chips and candy. In addition, there will be a $2 menu that includes pizza, jumbo pretzels and nachos.
Adult general admission is $10 with a valid Nevada driver's license. Admission for senior citizens and military personnel with ID is $8.  Children 6-12 are $5.  Children five and under are free.  A Family Four Pack may be purchased for $26.
