The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will play host to the Spears SRL Southwest Tour on three event weekends in 2012.  The series will compete at the 3/8-mile asphalt oval on May 12, Sept. 8 and Nov. 17.

"We are proud to host three great events with the racers of the Spears SRL Southwest Tour," said Chris Blair, LVMS' vice president of racing operations. "The Collins family has done a great job in building an excellent competitor base for the series and, as a result, their events are becoming some of the most popular races at The Bullring.

"The tour features beautiful cars, professional teams, great driver personalities and the competition is some of the best in asphalt short track racing.

"The May 12 Mother's Day Weekend special is a combination event with the Lucas Oil Modified Series as well as the NASCAR Whelen All-American Racing Series Super Late Models.   The Sept. 8 date also will be run in conjunction with the NASCAR Whelen All-American Racing Series Super Late Models and other local racing classes.  The Nov. 17 twilight event is part of Speedfest 2012 which will also feature the Lucas Oil Modifieds, USAC Focus Midgets and other touring classes on a new date for the Bullring and series finales.

"We're still working on assembling great 2012 racing schedule that will be one of the most entertaining years in the history of The Bullring. There are lots of changes in store and some exciting announcements to be made when our full schedule is released in late January."
