Additional Jr. Dragster events at The Strip at LVMS:
PSCA will now run Jr. Dragsters at the Feb. 18-19, April 21-22 and Oct. 6-7 events. Please be advised that these events are being run to accommodate the PSCA families who also have children that race in the PSCA series and it is being run as a supplement to the PSCA events.  Jr. Dragster racers will get one-to-two time trials on Saturday morning before the start of PSCA racing and another time trial (time permitting) at the end of the day on Saturday. On Sunday morning those racers will get one reaction-time qualifying run and go straight into eliminations.  The final Jr. Dragster rounds will be contested in the afternoon while we are providing cool-down time for PSCA classes to come back between quarter, semi and final rounds.  Please understand that the races are being run as a supplemental program, and not a “big Jr. Dragster event” before you make plans to attend.

The NHRA Pacific Division Jr. Dragster Series will return to The strip at LVMS on Sunday, Sept. 2. This will create another “super weekend” for Jr. Dragster racers with the NHRA Nevada State Championship Race (and water balloon fight) the day prior and the Jr. Dragster Challenge event on the day after.

The top eight drivers in Jr. Lightning and the top eight drivers in Jr. Thunder will be invited to participate in the 2012 Super Chevy Show. Jr. Dragster racers will receive time trials on Saturday morning prior to the start of the Super Chevy Show.  On Sunday racers will receive reaction-time qualifying runs and the first round of eliminations prior to the start of the Super Chevy races with final rounds taking place in early afternoon.  Super Chevy Show trophies will be awarded.
