Nickelson wins Nitro Coupe finale at AutoZone
Super Chevy Show at The Strip at LVMS
Dan Nickelson of LaVerne, Calif., won the Nitro Coupe finale at the AutoZone Super Chevy Show at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Sunday evening.  The event featured all-Chevrolet -- or Chevrolet-powered -- drag racing and a car show.
Rod Fuller, a native of Rogers, Ark., who now resides in Las Vegas, won the Bracket One category over Jeff Handley of Visilia, Calif.
Las Vegas' Robin Harris won the Bracket Two finale.  His '66 Nova outran Brent Turnbull's Arizona-based '67 Camaro.
John Irving of Boulder City defeated Dean Ashimine in the D.O.T. Street final.
Neisha Mackay of Sandy, Utah, defeated Patrick Clark of Las Vegas for Jr. Dragster honors.
The next and final event of the 2003 season at The Strip at LVMS is Titan Auto Insurance Midnight Mayhem on Friday, Dec. 5.
