Duane Shields of Las Vegas outran Jeff Wilson to win the Top Alcohol Dragster finale at Sunday¿s NHRA O¿Reilly Spring Nationals at Houston Raceway Park in Baytown, Texas.  Although Wilson had a better reaction time, Shields blasted a pass of 5.372 sec./265.64 mph to claim the win.  Shields also has won Top Alcohol finals at Houston Raceway Park in 2002 and 2003.

Shields owns and operates the Short Line Express Markets gas stations and convenience stores in the Las Vegas area and also co-sponsors The Strip¿s Meadow Gold NHRA Jr. Dragster Series Presented by Short Line Express Markets.
