The 2008 Short Line Express Markets Jr. Dragster Series at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and three drivers closed out the season with victories on National Dragster Challenge Day. Two of the three final rounds of eliminations were won on the starting line due to foul starts.

Jeff Lingle of Las Vegas scored his first-ever Jr. Dragster victory today by defeating Alexis Thompson of Las Vegas in the Jr. Dragster Lightning finale.

Jacob Evans of Las Vegas won the Jr. Dragster Thunder final over Kayla Glenn of Kingman, Ariz.  Glenn was the only opponent not to red-light on the starting line in the final rounds.

Richard Kilgore of Las Vegas defeated Jessica Payne of Henderson in the final round of Jr. Dragster Novice competition.
