7 a.m. - Tech inspection (no National Open entries will be accepted after 8 a.m. on Saturday).
8 a.m. - Final National Open qualifying.
10 a.m. - Final Pro Stock qualifying session.
10:30 a.m. - First round of National Open eliminations. 

Noon - First round of Pro Stock eliminations.
12:30 p.m. - Professional nitro and alcohol test run.
1:30 p.m. - Second round of Pro Stock eliminations.
2:30 p.m. - Professional nitro and alcohol test run.
3 p.m. - Third round of Pro Stock eliminations.

4 p.m. - All National Open final rounds.
4:30 p.m. - Pro Stock finals.
4:45 p.m. - Professional nitro and alcohol test run.
7 p.m. - 2008 drag strip awards banquet in Blackjack Club at superspeedway.

Sunday, Feb. 1
6 a.m. - Pit parking and credentials.
7 a.m. - Tech inspection.
8 a.m. - Bracket time trial(s).
8:45 a.m. - Bracket Cash Dash
9:30 a.m. - First round of Bracket eliminations.
10 a.m. - Pro Stock and professional test session.
10:30 a.m. - Second round of Bracket eliminations.
11:30 a.m. - Second Pro Stock test session.
Noon - Second professional test session.
1 p.m. - Final Pro Stock practice session.
1:30 p.m. Final round of Bracket eliminations.
1:45 p.m. - Final professional practice session.
1:50 p.m. - Staging lanes closed.

*Testing continues Feb. 2-3, from  9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Entry fees:
National Open car and driver: $165.
Four-day restricted-area pass: $60.
Bracket race (Sunday): $100.
Bracket crew pass (Sunday only): $15.
Professional test fee (nitro and alcohol classes, car and driver): $500 per day.

National Open classes:
Stock/Super Stock Combo, Super Comp, Super gas, Super Street, Top Sportsman/Top Dragster Combo, Electronic Bracket, Non-Electronic Bracket, Sportsman Motorcycle.
Divisional grade points will be awarded and winners will receive NHRA "Wally" trophies.
