The next Dodge Midnight Mayhem Presented By Tony Rowe Enterprises’ Operation Street Legal will take place on Friday, May 18 at 7 p.m.

 Midnight Mayhem is The Strip at LVMS’ safe alternative to illegal street racing. Instead of street racing illegally on the roads of Las Vegas and Clark County, The Strip at LVMS encourages enthusiasts to race each other on the safer confines of its NHRA-sanctioned drag strip. Fourteen Dodge midnight Mayhem events are scheduled for 2012.

Now in its 11th year, Midnight Mayhem is open to any licensed driver with proof of insurance and any street-legal car or motorcycle (vehicle must be registered – no temporary tags are 
permitted).

Driver must provide proof-of-ownership or written authorization from owner.Minors must present a signed parental consent form, which may be obtained by calling The Strip's office at (702) 632-8213.All cars are required to pass a basic NHRA safety inspection (properly-inflated tires, battery securely mounted, seat belts, etc.). Cars must be driven through registration and tech inspection (trailered vehicles are not allowed).

Alcohol is not allowed and beer is not sold at the track during Midnight Mayhem. Coolers, alcoholic beverages and weapons are not allowed.Management reserves the right to alter vehicle and participant eligibility for the betterment of racing and safety.

Entry fee is $15 to race or ride along and $5 admission for spectators. Ride-along passes and restricted-area passes are $15.

Dodge Midnight Mayhem schedule:

7 p.m. – Gates open, tech inspection open.

8 p.m.-12:30 a.m. – Dodge Midnight Mayhem.

10:30 p.m. – Tech card sales conclude.Midnight – Staging lanes closed.

12:30 a.m. – Conclude event. 

Spectator admission and race entry fees:

 Spectator: $5.Car and driver (tech card): $15.

Ride-along passenger:$15.

Show vehicle, pit area parking pass:$15.

Change of entry procedure (new for 2012):All Mayhem racers will access the facility via Gate 12.  Cars will be inspected by LVMS Security prior to entering the facility. Once the driver has purchased wristband, signed the release waiver and picked up the tech card, he will proceed to staging lanes 7-10 for tech inspection and first run of the evening.After completing the first run, all cars will return to either lanes 1-4 for random pairing or lanes 5-6 for grudge pairings.

Rules:All drivers must have a valid license.Any driver or ride-along passenger under the age of 18 must have a valid parental consent form on file at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.No one under the age of 16 is permitted to ride along in a vehicle during the event. (Please refer to NHRA rulebook).All cars must be street legal, in safe working condition and have valid registration and insurance documents.  Temporary license plates are not permitted.All cars must be driven to the track. Cars on trailers will not be admitted.  No trailers are allowed in the pits on the nights of Mayhem races.All cars must pass a standard NHRA safety and tech inspection by the SFI-certified inspectors on site at the event.The only slicks permitted are D.O.T.-stamped drag radial tires.No alcohol, weapons, gang signs/colors permitted. Unruly behavior will not be tolerated.
