Many NASCAR Nextel Cup Series drivers are excited about the upcoming changes in the banking of the turns at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Dale Earnhardt Jr. is no exception. Earnhardt, who has struggled in the past at LVMS, feels that the increase in banking - from the present 12 degrees to 20 degrees -- is exactly what he needs to earn a victory in this year's UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400. "I like driving on tracks with more banking so I'm excited about the changes," said Earnhardt, during a lunchtime press conference. Earnhardt, along with teammate Martin Truex Jr., also addressed the media on some of the changes Dale Earnhardt Inc. (DEI) is hoping to make in the way teams communicate with each other. "It can happen on and off the racetrack," said Earnhardt. "On the track, not only with Martin but with racers you're friends with, you expect a lot of give and take. Off the race track, I'll talk with Martin to find out if he's having some of the same issues I'm having." "Things (at DEI) are looking good," said Truex. "Me and Junior are good friends. "He's been a great friend and someone I go to for advice, and not just the stuff on the race track. It's good to have that type of relationship." Both Earnhardt and Truex are testing at the LVMS again today. The public is invited to watch the test sessions free of charge each day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets for the March 10-12 NASCAR Weekend are available by calling 1-800-644-4444 or visiting The following is a tentative list of drivers participating in the test: Tuesday: Clint Bowyer, Jeff Burton, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Robby Gordon, Jeff Green, Kevin Harvick, Dale Jarrett, Travis Kvapil, Mark Martin, Jamie McMurray, Elliott Sadler, Hermie Sadler, Ken Schrader, Brent Sherman, Reed Sorenson, David Stremme, Martin Truex Jr. and Scott Wimmer.
