Canceled NHRA Event Information and Exchange Requests

As part of NHRA’s revised schedule for the 2020 season in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, NHRA has made the following schedule changes to its events scheduled at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway:

Denso Spark Plugs NHRA Four-Wide Nationals scheduled for April 3-5, 2020 has been canceled.

The Dodge NHRA Nationals Presented by Pennzoil will run as scheduled Oct. 29-Nov. 1.

Denso Spark Plugs NHRA Four-Wide Nationals Ticketholders on file may choose to receive an event credit for the full amount paid plus an additional 20 percent, or choose to receive a full refund of their purchase price. The event credit can be applied toward admissions including grandstand seating, suite tickets, camping and fan hospitality. The 120 percent event credit can be used during the Dodge NHRA Nationals Presented by Pennzoil Oct. 29-Nov. 1, 2020 or for a 2021 NHRA event at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, subject to availability. Your seats are currently reserved in your account for the 2021 spring event. If you would like to renew those, you can use the 120% credit.

Fans are advised to hold their current tickets and asked to complete the Refund/Exchange request form (link below) to start the process. Ticket office representatives will follow up with fans within 2-3 weeks regarding the status of their request.

After much discussion with NHRA and consultation with our public health officials regarding coronavirus, it has been decided to cancel all of the events scheduled for April 3-5, 2020, at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Yes, credits placed on the ticketholder’s account can be used during the Dodge NHRA Nationals Presented by Pennzoil Oct. 29-Nov. 1, 2020 or for a 2021 NHRA national event at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, subject to availability. Ticketholders are asked to complete the NHRA Exchange/Refund Form to begin the process. Credits will be available in the next 3-4 weeks. 

Ticketholders on file will have the option for a credit, including an additional 20% above the total paid amount, to a future NHRA-sanctioned event at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for 2020 or 2021. If a ticketholder is not able to take advantage of that offer, they will have the option to request a full refund of their purchase price. All requests will be reviewed and processed as soon as possible. Refunds may take several weeks to process. Any physical tickets, parking passes, etc. will need to be returned to LVMS in order to complete the process. Refunds must be requested within 30 days of the announcement of the canceled event.

Refunds will be processed back to the credit card used on the original order. Refunds could take up to several weeks to show on your credit card. If tickets were paid using another method of payment, a refund check will be issued and mailed to the ticketholder on file. Refund checks could delay payment even further. Every effort will be made to expedite your refund. Any physical tickets, parking passes, etc. will need to be returned to LVMS in order to complete the refund process.

Any future event credits or refunds will only be made to the ticketholder on file with LVMS.

Any paid admissions including tickets (General Admission or Reserved), RV camping, Club Nitro hospitality, etc., that were purchased in advance on the ticketholder's account will be eligible for a credit or refund.
