The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will continue to have cosponsorship from Smith’s Food & Drug Stores and Las Vegas Events.

Smith’s joined with longtime Truck race sponsor Las Vegas Events last year and both have elected to return to their title roles for the Sept. 22 Smith’s Las Vegas 350 on the superspeedway’s high-banked oval. This will mark Las Vegas Events’ sixth consecutive year as a sponsor of the Truck race.

“Smith’s proved to be a terrific partner during last year’s event, and we are pleased to have one of the area’s most popular grocery and drug store chains extending its cosponsorhip of our event,” said LVMS general manager Chris Powell. “We also are very appreciative of the longstanding support from Las Vegas Events, which has been involved in various events at the speedway for many years.”
Smith’s, a division of the Cincinnati-based Kroger Corporation, currently operates 32 stores in Southern Nevada. For more information on Smith’s, visit www.smithsfoodanddrug.com. Las Vegas Events produces, presents, and supports premier events that drive tourism and increase awareness of the Las Vegas area.
