Something other than a Toyota was fastest in a test session at Las Vegas Motor Speedway today as Carl Edwards turned in the best lap time in his Ford during the morning portion of the second day of NASCAR Preseason Thunder Las Vegas.

Edwards' Office Depot No. 99B Ford turned a lap of 29.307 sec./184.256 mph around LVMS' 1.5-mile superspeedway.

Second was David Reutimann in the No. 00B Toyota at 29.350 sec./183.986 mph.  Kyle Busch, fastest yesterday, was third at 29.365 sec./183.892 mph.

As of 2 p.m. PST, there were only two incidents today - both Tony Stewart and Jeff Burton hit the wall in Turn 3. Neither driver was injured - in fact, Stewart was able to drive his car away under its own power.  Testing will conclude today at 5 p.m.  The NASCAR Nationwide Series (formerly Busch Series) will test here Wednesday and Thursday.
