The Strip at LVMS
One of the most iconic drag strips in the country, The Strip at LVMS is a spectacle to behold!
Recently widened from two to four lanes, The Strip is one of just two drag strips in the nation to feature four-wide racing. The world's best drag racers hit speeds in excess of 330 miles per hour at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway drag strip, a place where world championships have been decided and records set through the years.
Opened in 2000, the track is home to two NHRA national events, in addition to more than 50 other events annually.
This facility includes enclosed suites accessible by elevator at the top of the main grandstands and permanent restroom facilities. The adjacent paddock area is lighted and features 1.2 million square feet of unobstructed asphalt that is ideal for even the largest ride-and-drive events.
Note: In compliance with the state of Nevada's official mandate, face coverings are required at all upcoming events at The Strip. These events are participant-only; no fans allowed. Racers don't need to wear masks while in their car or in the pit area with their own team. However, masks must be worn at credentials, the ticket gate, at tech, and in any group setting.
