Las Vegas Motor Speedway has set up an exciting pre-race lineup for the Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube on Sunday, March 4.

Golden Globe-winning actor Dylan McDermott will give drivers the famous command to start their engines while serving as Grand Marshal of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race, while legendary Southern rock band 38 Special will perform the national anthem and hip hop dance crew the Jabbawockeez will perform during pre-race festivities.

The 267-lap race is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Pacific Time and will be televised live on FOX, with pre-race activities kicking off at approximately 11 a.m. on the front stretch.

McDermott is right at home performing in front of a crowd. The Waterbury, Conn., native has appeared in nearly 60 movies and television shows and won a Golden Globe in 1999 for his performance in "The Practice."

Also an Emmy Award nominee, McDermott currently stars in the hit FOX comedy "LA to Vegas" and is well-known for his movie roles in everything from "Steel Magnolias" and "In the Line of Fire" to "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" and "The Campaign." McDermott also appeared in "Ally McBeal," "Will & Grace" and "American Horror Story," among other hit shows.

Formed by neighborhood friends Don Barnes and Donnie Van Zant in Jacksonville, Fla., in 1974, 38 Special has been one of the most influential Southern rock bands for decades. The band is best known for its No. 1 hit songs and "Caught Up in You" and "If I'd Been the One," as well as "Hold on Loosely," which peaked at No. 3 on the charts.

With sales of more than 20 million albums, the band has released more than 15 albums. Consisting of guitarist/vocalist Don Barnes, guitarist/vocalist Danny Chauncey, bassist Barry Dunaway, drummer Gary Moffatt and keyboardist/vocalist Bobby Capps, 38 Special continues to bring its popular sound to more than 100 cities a year. They can be seen Saturday, March 3, at the Fremont Street Experience here in Las Vegas.

Best-known for winning the first season of "America's Best Dance Crew" in 2008, the Jabbawockeez are a world-famous hip hop dance crew that currently performs its show "JREAMZ" six days a week at the MGM Grand. Established in 2003 in San Diego, the Jabbawockeez have performed all over the world, have made appearances on shows like "Dancing With the Stars," "So You Think You Can Dance," "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and "Live with Regis and Kelly."

They made a cameo appearance in the movie "Step Up 2 The Streets," have their own clothing line, have toured with New Kids on the Block and Jesse McCartney and performed as backup dancers for Taylor Swift's 2013 Billboard Music Awards performance. The Jabbawockeez have performed in Las Vegas since 2010, earning "Best Family Show" and "Best All-Ages Show" awards, and also have appeared in TV commercials for Coca-Cola, Ford and Gatorade, among others.

LVMS' first tripleheader of the year begins on Friday, March 2, with Stratosphere Qualifying and the Stratosphere 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race, continues with the Boyd Gaming 300 NASCAR Xfinity Series race on Saturday, March 3, and concludes with the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube on Sunday, March 4.
