Special Event Ticket Agent (Part-Time)


Description of Responsibilities:

  • Process sales of event credentials at The Bullring & Dragstrip using the Archtics ticket system
  • Process sales of NASCAR/INEX/NHRA licenses with form applications
  • Ensure accurate cash handling & cash reconciliation post-event
  • Fulfillment of tech cards and license verification to ensure 100% accuracy
  • Assist the ticket office with various job-related duties when needed
  • All other duties assigned by management 

Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent computer skills with the ability to learn new functions quickly
  • Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays
  • Cash handling experience
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Enthusiastic attitude, self-motivator, positive, and outgoing personality
  • Knowledge of NASCAR, INEX & NHRA licensing a plus
  • Knowledge of Ticketmaster Archtics system a plus

LVMS Security Officer (Part-Time)

Las Vegas Motor Speedway is seeking enthusiastic candidates for our track security department.
Prior security experience is preferred but not required. Security officers are responsible for patrolling a
1,000 + acre sports entertainment complex. Applicants must be fluent in English and have the ability to
use a computer. Officers will receive training in report writing and are expected to write legible reports.

Available positions are part-time with potential for growth into full-time.

Applicants will be required to pass a background check and must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license.

Note: A Guard Card is not required to join the LVMS Security team.

EMTs and Paramedics – Fire & Safety (Part-Time)

Las Vegas Motor Speedway's Fire & Safety Team is looking to hire EMT certification (attendants license preferred) Paramedics, Advanced and EMTs.

You must take and pass the Clark County Protocols Test to be employed with LVMS Fire/Safety EMS. This will be done during hiring. We require that you must work a minimum of two shifts per month, but prefer you work more than the required two shifts.

Event Security (Part-Time)

Want to become a member of the LVMS' Event Security team? LVMS is looking for individuals to work as part-time security officers during the various events we have throughout the year. Event Security provides security for the Bullring, Drag Strip, and Superspeedway events, as well as various track rentals at LVMS. If you enjoy working outdoors and with people, this is the job for you.

Neon Knights (Volunteer)

Become a volunteer member of the Neon Knights during our next NASCAR Weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway!

The Neon Knights is a volunteer group that works at Las Vegas Motor Speedway during both NASCAR weekends. The Neon Knights help with crowd control during pre-race ceremonies, provide pit stall and garage security, and help with security during the race and victory lane celebrations. Experience the sensation of being near the drivers and race cars — an experience many can only dream of. Meals and drinks are provided during your work time, and all Knights receive a t-shirt and hat to wear at the events.

Usher Supervisor (Event Staff)

Las Vegas Motor Speedway is currently seeking enthusiastic, dependable individuals to join the LVMS event supervisor team. Usher supervisors oversee and direct a team of volunteer ushers in a designated section. All event supervisors also serve as ambassadors while on property. Supervisors are expected to handle customer questions and complaints and have the ability to make quick decisions. Supervisors have the opportunity to work up to 4 events a year including NASCAR and NHRA.

Friday, Sept. 24-26
Friday, Oct. 29– 31

Responsibilities:

  • Assist guests by checking tickets, greeting and directing speedway guests, and answering questions about Las Vegas Motor Speedway offerings and policies
  • Oversees and acquaints volunteer workers with company policies and procedures
  • Adheres to and reinforces all standards, policies, and procedures
  • Promote a safe and enjoyable experience by identifying and reporting inappropriate behavior, safety risks or medical situations through a functional hierarchy
  • Coordinate team rest periods in accordance with changing event schedules
  • Uses proper etiquette and follows a chain of command when corresponding via radio
  • Puts equipment and supplies away at the end of each shift. Maintains assigned storage areas in a safe, clean and organized manner

 Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years or older
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Able to work outdoors. -work in outdoor weather conditions, be exposed to moderate to high noise levels
  • Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to perform multiple functions in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful scenarios
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license/clean driving record (Preferred)

Food and Beverage Supervisor (Part-Time)

Las Vegas Motor Speedway is currently seeking enthusiastic, dependable individuals to join the LVMS event supervisor team. Food and Beverage Supervisors ensure timely delivery of meals and drinks to all event supervisors and volunteers during the event. Food and Beverage Supervisors sort and transport meals to specific drop-off locations on the property. Personal vehicles are not required. Cargo golf carts will be provided for onsite use; therefore, Food and Beverage Supervisors are required to have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. All event supervisors also serve as ambassadors while on property. Supervisors are expected to handle customer questions and complaints and have the ability to make quick decisions. Supervisors have the opportunity to work up to 4 events a year including NASCAR and NHRA.

  • Delivers food and beverages to various locations on the property
  • Accurately sort food and beverages to ensure each drop-off location receives the necessary amount
  • Safely navigate through large crowds and busy roads during events
  • Responds to and handles guest problems and complaints
  • Adheres to and reinforces all standards, policies, and procedures
  • Promote a safe and enjoyable experience by identifying and reporting inappropriate behavior, safety risks or medical situations through a functional hierarchy
  • Uses proper etiquette and follows a chain of command when corresponding via radio
  • Puts equipment and supplies away at the end of each shift. Maintains assigned storage areas in a safe, clean and organized manner

 Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license/clean driving record
  • Must be at least 18 years or older
  • Position requires walking, climbing stairs, lifting, and carrying 25 lbs.+
  • Ability to work individually
  • Able to work outdoors. -work in outdoor weather conditions, be exposed to moderate to high noise levels
  • Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to perform multiple functions in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful scenarios
  • Strong problem-solving skills
