Las Vegas Motor Speedway is investing in the future of short-track racing by repaving The Bullring. This iconic 3/8-mile oval has served as an early stop for generations of racers and motorsports stars. The Bullring has become the home for many local races, touring series, and special events, and serves as a stepping stone for future NASCAR stars.

Cup Series drivers like Kyle Busch, Kurt Busch, Brendan Gaughan, Noah Gragson, Riley Herbst and Zane Smith have all sharpened their skills on the Las Vegas oval before advancing to the national stage.

"The Bullring has been a cornerstone of Southern Nevada motorsports for decades, creating unforgettable memories for drivers, teams and fans while serving as an important gathering place for our community," said Patrick Lindsey, Sr. Vice President and General Manager of LVMS. "As we prepare to repave this historic facility, we do so with tremendous respect for its legacy and everything it has meant to generations of racing enthusiasts. A new surface will enhance the experience while providing greater flexibility to host new events, attract new audiences and create unique experiences that complement our traditional racing schedule.”

The Bullring continues to serve as a regional hub for racing talent and motorsports. The improvements will help ensure the facility remains well-suited for both developing drivers and established competitors while also supporting the addition of exciting new events to the venue’s schedule in the future.

“It’s exciting to hear about some of the updates and upgrades being planned for The Bullring and that everyone at LVMS understands the value of having a world-class grassroots venue in the Las Vegas area, to continue to groom talent that will work their way up the ranks and represent the area for many years to come,” said NASCAR Cup Series Driver Noah Gragson. “I can’t wait to see it all come to life and to get back out to race in front of family and friends at a track that helped launch my racing career.”

The facility has recently entered a new era of growth and continues to build momentum as one of the premier racing venues in the West.

Additional details regarding the repaving timeline, reopening schedule, and future events at The Bullring will be announced at a later date. For more information on Las Vegas Motor Speedway and The Bullring, visit LVMS.com.
