The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway returns to action this Saturday with a rare matinee for the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series.
Students and all school personnel along with a guest will get in free simply by showing their student ID. It’s a great way to kick off racing season in Las Vegas.
Among other activities will be a live DJ, big wheel races, a driver autograph session and a special rendition of the national anthem by KLAS-TV personality and long-time Las Vegas meteorologist Nathan Tannenbaum.
On the track, seven divisions will compete in 255 laps of racing. The afternoon will include a doubleheader for the Bombers, a 60-lap Pro Late Model Feature, a 50-lap 602 Modified feature and races for US Legends Cars, Bandoleros, skid plates and super stocks.
Gates open Saturday at 11:30 a.m., the driver autograph session is set for 12:30 p.m. and feature races start at 2 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults and children under 12 are admitted free. The Bullring also offers fan-friendly concessions with $3 beers and $3 hot dogs.
