Nitro-fueled speeds and racing action are coming back to Las Vegas in 2027. The NHRA Las Vegas Nationals will thunder into The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Oct. 28-31, 2027, bringing the sport's fastest machines, biggest stars and most explosive side-by-side racing back to the neon lights of Las Vegas.
NHRA will return for four days of drag racing excitement, with drivers competing in classes such as Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and more, all battling for championship points and the coveted Wally. From the opening rounds of qualifying through Sunday's eliminations, fans will experience the thunderous power and incredible speed that make NHRA drag racing one of the most exciting forms of motorsports.
"Las Vegas has always been a special stop for NHRA fans, and we're thrilled to welcome NHRA back to The Strip in 2027," said Patrick Lindsey, General Manager and Senior Vice President of Las Vegas Motor Speedway. "There's nothing quite like experiencing the power and excitement of NHRA drag racing, and we're looking forward to giving fans another unforgettable weekend at the Speedway."
On Oct. 28-31, the race will bring a signature stop on the schedule and one of the sport's most recognizable stages, as they chase victories and championship points at a venue known for some of NHRA's most memorable record-breaking moments.
Fans can get an inside look all weekend long with access to the pits, driver interactions, merchandise and entertainment in the fan zone. When NHRA comes back to town in 2027, it will continue to offer plenty of opportunities for fans to get closer to the drivers, teams, and racing action.
