Formula DRIFT returns to Las Vegas Motor Speedway this week for the first time in 14 years, bringing three days of professional drifting to The Bullring at LVMS for High Stakes, Sept. 24–26. The event marks Round 7 of the Formula DRIFT PRO Championship.
As one of the leading professional drifting series in North America, Formula DRIFT features head-to-head competition where drivers are judged on line, angle and style rather than simply who completes a course fastest. The series includes two competition classes, PRO and PROSPEC, with drivers competing at tracks across North America throughout the season.
High Stakes is also the final round of the 2026 Link ECU PROSPEC Championship. The three-day event will include practice, qualifying and tandem competition, with PROSPEC championship competition on Friday before the PRO field takes to the track Saturday.
On-track action begins Thursday, September 24, with PRO and PROSPEC practice, followed by PROSPEC seeding and PRO qualifying under the lights. Friday will feature the PROSPEC Top 32, a driver autograph signing and the PROSPEC Top 16, while Saturday will showcase the PRO Top 32, a track walk experience and the PRO Top 16. Trophy ceremonies will follow each night’s competition.
