Race weekend roars back to life at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Friday, March 13, as Free Friday returns to launch the Pennzoil 400 weekend with a full day of fan experiences, citywide NASCAR excitement, and high-energy racing under the lights.
Fans can begin the day at the Speedway with complimentary access to the Fan Zone, open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., where sponsor activations, interactive displays, games, giveaways, merchandise, and live entertainment will keep the energy high throughout the afternoon. From photo opportunities to family-friendly activities, the Fan Zone offers fans the chance to fully immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of NASCAR as anticipation builds toward Sunday’s race.
RV campers can also take part in the THOR Family of Companies RV Appreciation Party, taking place from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the Speedway Experience area near the Fan Zone in partnership with Cracker Barrel, and from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., a special appearance by Kyle Larson will occur as he stops by and gets the opportunity to have fun with campers.
Then, one of the most anticipated moments of the day arrives in the late afternoon when the NASCAR Cup Series Hauler Parade rolls through the heart of Las Vegas. At 4:30 p.m., the haulers will depart from Luxor and travel north along the iconic Las Vegas Strip before continuing through downtown and the Arts District to Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The parade offers fans a unique opportunity to watch the teams arrive in fashion while bringing NASCAR directly to the city’s most famous streets.
As the sun sets, the action shifts to The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where fans can keep the excitement going with the opening night of the High Limit Racing season opener. The sprint cars will battle under the lights for the first of three nights of competition, delivering a fast-paced evening of dirt-track racing. The on-track program begins with Hot Laps at 6:15 p.m., followed by qualifying at 6:30 p.m., and opening ceremonies and racing at 7:30 p.m.
While racing at The Dirt Track requires a ticket, Friday night remains an affordable option for fans. Reserved seats are $47, adult general admission is $42, and children 12 and under are admitted free with a general admission ticket.
Free Friday has become a fan-favorite tradition at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, welcoming both longtime NASCAR enthusiasts and first-time visitors with an easy, fun way to experience the sport before the intensity of race day arrives.
