8:20 pm - Good Night - That's a wrap on today's coverage. We'll be back tomorrow morning for our second full day of action. Tomorrow's schedule includes the Xfinity Series Boyd Gaming 300 and Kyle Busch's chance to go two-for-two. Until then, good night.

7:40 pm - Kyle Busch Wins the Strat 200 - Kyle Busch made it look easy as he swept all three segments to win tonight's Strat 200. Busch started from the pole, led 111 of 134 laps, and finished nearly two seconds ahead of runner-up Brett Moffitt. Matt Crafton, Stewart Friesen, and Harrison Burton rounded out the top five.

Busch matched his performance last March when he won this race from the pole. It it's second consecutive victory of the season after breaking the series all-time win record last weekend at Atlanta.

Despite what it might have looked like from where we were sitting, Busch claims it really wasn't as easy as it looked.

"Tight," said Busch about his No. 51 Toyota. "We fought it in practice a little bit. We worked on it an awful lot to make it better. These guys worked on this Cessna Tundra. They kept working on it all night long. Every pit stop, we'd come in and they’d work on it.

"It’s cool to win here in your hometown. And starting off a triple weekend. Hopefully, we can keep it going."

7:30 pm - Strat 200 Update - Busch continues to lead under green on Lap 105 and green flag pit stops are underway. Poole makes a stop and is stalled on pit road.

Sauter makes a stop on Lap 108.

Poole is penalized for too many people over the wall. He needed them though to push him back to his stall.

Friesen gives up 5th place to make his stop on Lap 111. Moffitt comes to pit road on Lap 112 - he'll get 2 tires.

Creed makes a stop on Lap 112.

Crafton gives up 2nd place to make a stop on Lap 113.

Burton makes a stop for two tires.

Kyle Busch comes down pit road on Lap 114. He'll get two tires and fuel. He’s down and away.

Enfinger inherits the lead before making a stop on Lap 117.

After the round of stops, Busch cycles back into the lead, followed by Moffitt, Crafton, Friesen, Burton

We have 15 laps to go.

7:05 pm - Strat 200, Segment 3, Green Flag - Kyle Busch holds onto the lead through that round of pit stops.

Behind him for the restart it's Chastain, Friesen, Gilliland, Burton, Creed, Crafton, Moffitt, Hill, Rhodes, Peters, Reed, Poole

Busch chooses the high lane for the restart and we're back to green on Lap 67

6:55 pm - Busch Wins Strat 200 Segment 2 - Busch takes the green flag for the second segment in 7th place but it doesn't take long for him to catch Friesen, who restarted first. On Lap 50, Busch leans hard on Friesen from the inside but can't make the pass. After falling back for a couple laps, Busch makes another bid for the lead on Lap 54 and this time he makes it stick.

Segment 2 Finish: Busch, Friesen, Chastain, Gilliland, Rhodes, Burton, Creed, Hill, Crafton, Moffitt, Sauter, Peters, Poole

6:42 pm - Strat 200, Segment 2, Green Flag - The drivers who made stops during the first caution decide to stay out:

For the restart, it's Friesen, Creed, Alfredo Rhodes, Gilliland, Hill, Busch, Chastain, Enfinger, Burton

Moffitt has a long stop as he accidently ends up parked on the rear tire changer's air hose.

Ruch is penalized for crew member over the wall too soon
Poole is penalized for speeding on pit road

Back to green on Lap 38

6:32 pm - Busch Wins Strat 200 Stage 1 - Busch led all 30 laps of the first stage and finished 1.66 seconds ahead of Moffitt. Hill, Burton, and Chastain finished 3rd through 5th.

Moffitt is the only driver who has even been close to the lead. Moffitt chased down Busch on Lap 18. After challenging the pole leader for a couple laps, Moffitt finally fell back in line and watched Busch stretch out his lead.

The leaders will all be on pit road for service but there should be plenty of strategy as crew chiefs decide whether to change two or four tires.

6:17 pm - Caution #1, Lap 7 - Under caution for a spin on the frontstretch. Sheldon Creed gets loose and ends up in the infield grass. Ben Rhodes, Matt Crafton, and Chastain are also involved.

The drivers with damage got to pit road for help.

Rhodes is penalized for coming to pit road too soon, and too many men over the wall.

Enfinger and Sauter also hit pit road for adjustments.

Under caution, 1st-5th: Busch, Moffitt, Burton, Hill, Poole

Back to green on Lap 11

6:12 pm - Strat 200 Green Flag - Kyle Busch lines up on the inside lane with Brett Moffitt to his right. Green flag!

Lap 1: Busch, Burton, Moffitt, Hill, Poole

5:55 pm - Strat 200 Pre-Race - The drivers are climbing into their trucks for tonight's event. The race will be 134 laps and run in three segments - 30 laps, 30 laps, and 74 laps

Grant Entfinger will start at the rear of the field. His team made an engine change yesterday, which triggered his penalty.

Kyle Busch will take the green flag first for the 22nd time in his Truck Series career.

5:25 pm - Harvick Wins Pennzoil 400 Pole - In a qualifying session that saw all 12 drivers hit the track at the same time, Harvick came out the fastest with a lap of 180.17 mph. This is Harvick's first pole at LVMS. Denny Hamlin will start 2nd after qualifying with a lap of 180.457 mph.

Chris Bowman and Chase Elliott were the only two drivers who were unable to complete two full laps before time and that cost both drivers any shot they had at the pole. NASCAR officials reported that Bowman missed the flag by approximately ½ a second, while Elliott was more than a second late.

5:10 pm - Harvick Leads the Way in 2nd Round of Qualifying - Harvick posted a lap of 181.123 mph early in the session and held on for the top spot. Dillon was second quickest at 181.111 mph

4:30 pm - Haley Leads Xfinity Series Final Practice - Justin Haley hung on to the top spot with a 180.307 mph lap. Austin Dillon more than a half second slower at 178.194, but was second overall.

Busch spent about 15 minutes in the garage for his team to deal with his scrape with the wall. As it turns out, it's no harm, no foul, as Busch got back out on the track and was third fastest overall at 177.977 mph.

Christopher Bell and Tyler Reddick rounded out the top five.

The Xfinity Series are done for today. They'll be back tomorrow for qualifying and the Boyd Gaming 300, which is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm.

4:05 pm - Xfinity Series Final Practice Underway - Justin Haley is leading the way about halfway through this final practice session. Kyle Busch ran into his first snag here at the race track today just minutes after winning the pole in his truck. He had completed just two laps in the Xfinity car when he scraped the outside wall with the rear, right quarter panel. The early top five is Haley, Austin Dillon, Christopher Bell, Tyler Reddick, and Austin Cindric.

3:55 pm - Sizing up the Strat 200 - Kyle Busch is entered in all three races at the speedway this weekend, and he'll kick off his attempt to bag a triple header in front of the hometown fans from the pole this evening. Busch's lap of 178.903 mph beat the previous track record set way back in September 2006 by Mike Skinner.

Busch is coming off a historic win at Atlanta last weekend. Busch's 52nd trip to Victory Lane vaulted him into first place on the all-time Truck Series win list. He won last year's event here after starting on the pole and leading 55 laps.

Points Leader Starts 4th - Grant Enfinger finished 2nd and 3rd at Daytona and Atlanta, respectively to take a slim one-point lead over Daytona winner Austin Hill in the early championship standings. Enfinger has five Truck Series starts at LVMS and was the winner here last September.

Drivers Looking for Two - Johnny Sauter, Timothy Peters, and Ben Rhodes are the three additional former LVMS winners in tonight's field. Sauter and Rhodes posted their first series victories at LVMS. Sauter's victory was in 2009 and Rhodes visited Victory Lane in 2017. Sauter starts tonight's race 11th, Peters starts 18th, and Rhodes takes the green flag from 18th on the grid.
