NASCAR weekend reaches its thrilling conclusion on Sunday, October 12, at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with the South Point 400 NASCAR Cup Series Playoff Race. Fans can enjoy a full day of racing, pre-race activities, concerts, and charitable events before the main event takes the track.
Gates and parking lots open at 8 A.M., with the Fan Zone opening at 9 A.M., giving fans a chance to explore exhibits, enjoy interactive experiences, and grab souvenirs. At 10 A.M., the Neon Garage, VIP Suites, and Ticket Gates B-C-D open. Starting at 10:30 A.M., fans can participate in the Speedway Children’s Charities Live Auction at the Draft Bar (ticket required) or attend the Raceway Ministries Service at The Strip RV Lot Tent near the Drag Strip Grandstands (open to the public).
Pre-race access continues at 12:15 P.M., when Pre-Race Track Pass access opens along the front-stretch (pass required), followed by a Pre-Race Concert at 1 P.M. Drivers then take the spotlight with the Drivers Meeting at 1:25 P.M. (Neon Garage – pass required) and the Drivers Red Carpet Walk at 1:40 P.M. in the infield/front-stretch. The day culminates with NASCAR Cup Series driver introductions at 1:50 P.M., setting the stage for the main event: the South Point 400 Playoff Race at 2:30 P.M. The race covers 400.5 miles across 267 laps, divided into three stages of 80, 165, and 267 laps, delivering high-speed excitement for fans of all ages.
