Las Vegas Motor Speedway announced today that the annual fall race at The Bullring, held during NASCAR weekend, will officially be named the Kyle Busch Classic. The designation establishes a new tradition that honors one of motorsports' most accomplished drivers while celebrating one of the track's greatest hometown champions.
The inaugural Kyle Busch Classic will be held on Friday, October 2, featuring the CARS Tour Series West, including Modifieds, Bandoleros, Legends, ARCA, CARS Tour Pro Late Models and CARS Tour Limited Late Models. The event will carry forward Busch's lasting impact on grassroots racing while showcasing some of the sport's top short-track competitors.
"The Bullring has been home to so many unforgettable moments throughout its history, and Kyle Busch has been at the center of many of them," said Patrick Lindsey, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Las Vegas Motor Speedway. "Establishing the Kyle Busch Classic ensures Kyle's impact at The Bullring will continue to inspire future generations of racers and create a signature event fans can look forward to every fall. We are proud to recognize everything Kyle has accomplished and celebrate the place where his racing began."
For years, fans watched Kyle Busch compete at The Bullring, where he won two track championships as a young driver chasing his dreams. Decades later, those same fans watched him return to the track alongside his son, Brexton, during the fan-favorite Battle of the Busches. Now, the Kyle Busch Classic builds on those memories, ensuring Busch's connection to the track will continue to be highlighted for generations.
"The Bullring is where it all began for Kyle," said Samantha Busch. "It's where he fell in love with racing, where his dad, Tom, first taught him the sport and where he spent countless nights racing alongside his brother, Kurt, while his mom and grandma cheered them on. Those early years shaped not only the driver the world came to know but the husband, father and person we loved so deeply.
"Having Kyle's legacy honored at The Bullring is incredibly special to our family. Knowing his name will forever be part of the place that gave him his start is something I'll always cherish. The last time he raced there, he was racing against Brexton in the Battle of the Busches. None of us could have known then how precious those laps together would become, but I'm so thankful they had that time together doing what they both loved. I couldn't imagine a memory Kyle would have loved more than sharing his home track with his son.

A Las Vegas native, Busch began his racing career at The Bullring, where he developed the talent and determination that ultimately carried him to NASCAR championships and victories at the sport's highest level. Despite his success nationally, he remained committed to supporting grassroots racing and returning to the short tracks where his career began.
Each fall, the Kyle Busch Classic will showcase Busch's enduring connection to The Bullring, bringing fans together to honor his remarkable career while enjoying one of the track's staple short-track racing events. On Friday, October 2, spectator gates will open at 4 p.m. while opening ceremonies will begin at 5:30 p.m., and racing action will begin at 6:10 p.m.
