Two of the three spring national-event winners at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will start from the pole for this weekend’s events.
Pennzoil 400 winner Kyle Larson has drawn the top spot based on NASCAR’s lineup formula for Sunday’s South Point 400. He will start alongside Ryan Blaney on the front row. The 12 playoff drivers make up the first 12 spots, including Las Vegas’s Kyle Busch in 10th. Defending South Point 400 winner and Las Vegan Kurt Busch will start 20th.
Austin Cindric and AJ Allmendinger, who put on an amazing finish at Bristol Motor Speedway last week, will make up the front row for Saturday’s Alsco 302. Las Vegas drivers Noah Gragson and Riley Herbst will start ninth and 10th.
Spring Truck race winner John Hunter Nemechek will start on the pole for Friday night’s Victoria’s Voice Foundation 200 presented by Westgate Resorts NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race. Nemechek’s teammate at Kyle Busch Motorsports, Chandler Smith, will start beside him.
