The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will be buzzing with non-stop activity again in 2020.

The iconic drag strip will host a total of 65 events in the coming year, highlighted by the DENSO Spark Plugs NHRA Four-Wide Nationals April 3-5 and the Dodge NHRA Nationals Presented By Pennzoil Oct. 29-Nov. 1. In addition, The Strip will be the backdrop for 12 LVMS Bracket Series events, 10 LVMS Jr. Dragsters competitions, a dozen O'Reilly Auto Parts Midnight Mayhems and seven Open Test-n-Tune sessions.

The Strip also plays host to NHRA Division 7 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series (LODRS) events April 9-11 and Nov. 5-8 and the NHRA Division 7 Jr. Finals Sept. 11-13. If that's not enough, the Spring Fling Million returns April 14-18, Street Car Super Nationals will be back Nov. 18-22 and Import Face Off events are set for March 15 and Dec. 13.

Other popular events on tap for next year include Muscle Cars at The Strip March 20-22, LS Fest April 23-26, the West Coast Hot Rod Association's Battle on May 30, Camaro Con on Oct. 11 and Thanksgiving Bracket Nationals Nov. 25-29.

The track's O'Reilly Auto Parts Midnight Mayhem program - the speedway's safe alternative to illegal street racing - returns to an exclusive Friday night schedule in 2020. Only street-legal vehicles with treaded tires are allowed at the dozen Mayhem sessions, while high-performance vehicles equipped with racing slicks can run at the seven Open Test-n-Tune sessions.

The Strip has been named the NHRA Division 7 LODRS Track of the Year six of the last eight years and is generally one of LVMS's busiest facilities every year. Tickets for The Strip's 2020 NHRA events may be purchased by calling the LVMS ticket office at 800-644-4444 or logging on to www.LVMS.com.
