Las Vegas Motor Speedway is proud to announce that the Nellis Air Force Base Honor Guard will present at the South Point 400 NASCAR Cup Series Chase Race on Sunday, October 4, bringing a meaningful tribute to race day and honoring the men and women who serve our country. They will take part in the pre-race ceremonies as NASCAR returns to Las Vegas for the 2026 Fall NASCAR Chase Weekend.
The Nellis Air Force Base Honor Guard will present the Nation's flags during the pre-race ceremonies, providing fans with an opportunity to recognize and honor the Nation's service members. Their participation will be a special part of the pre-race festivities ahead of the South Point 400, which is scheduled to begin at 2:30 P.M.
The Nellis Air Force Base Honor Guard's participation continues Las Vegas Motor Speedway's long-standing commitment to recognizing military members and first responders during its major events. The speedway regularly honors service members and their contributions, providing fans with opportunities to show their appreciation.

The South Point 400 is scheduled for Sunday, October 4, with the green flag set for 2:30 P.M. as the NASCAR Cup Series returns to Las Vegas for the second time in 2026.
