Race fans can make the most of their Sunday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Oct. 4, with a full schedule of activities leading up to the South Point 400 NASCAR Cup Series Chase Race. From the Fan Zone and Speedway Children’s Charities Live Auction to pre-race access and driver appearances, there will be plenty happening throughout the day before the NASCAR Cup Series takes the track.
Parking lots open at 8 AM, followed by the Fan Zone at 9 AM. RV check-in will be available from 9 AM to 2:30 PM. The Neon Garage, VIP Suites and Ticket Gates open at 10 AM, allowing fans to arrive early and enjoy the speedway before the afternoon’s racing action.
At 10:30 AM, Speedway Children’s Charities will host its Live Auction at the Draft Bar on the Club Level of the Earnhardt Terrace. Fans can bid on a variety of items and experiences while supporting Speedway Children’s Charities and its efforts to help children throughout Southern Nevada. A ticket is required for admission.
Fans with a Pre-Race Track Pass can access the front stretch beginning at 12:15 PM for an up-close look at the speedway as teams prepare for the South Point 400. The afternoon continues with the NASCAR Cup Series Drivers Meeting at 1:25 PM inside the Neon Garage, followed by the Drivers Red Carpet Walk through the infield and front stretch at 1:40 PM.
Driver introductions begin at 1:50 PM, setting the stage for the weekend’s final NASCAR race. At 2:30 PM, the green flag will fly for the South Point 400 NASCAR Cup Series Chase Race, with drivers set to compete for 267 laps around the 1.5-mile Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Stage breaks are scheduled at laps 80 and 165.
With activities beginning in the morning and NASCAR Cup Series action taking center stage in the afternoon, Sunday offers fans a full day of entertainment and racing as the 2026 Fall NASCAR Chase Weekend concludes in Las Vegas.
