Divisional points leaders will be looking to expand their advantages when The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway hosts another installment of NASCAR Whelen All-American Series racing on Saturday night.
All four of the 3/8-mile paved oval's NASCAR divisions will be in action, with a 50-lap NASCAR Super Late Models race anchoring the evening's schedule. Points leader Chris Clyne will be going for his seventh race win in nine starts in that feature.
In addition, NASCAR Bombers points leader Vinny Raucci Jr., NASCAR 602 Modifieds points leader Doug Hamm and NASCAR Super Stocks points leader Sam Jacks are expected to be behind the wheel on Saturday night. The racing schedule also includes Jr. Late Models, USLCI Legends and Bandoleros features, as well as a Skid Plate Cars race where fans get to decide which direction the drivers run.
A number of winning streaks will be on the line this weekend, with Jacks going for seven in a row in the Super Stocks division and Hank Hall looking for his fourth straight USLCI Bandolero Bandits victory. The weekend also will include the fourth Thunder Cars race of the year on Friday night, with reigning champion Chris Bosley going for four consecutive checkered flags.
This weekend's action is the first of three upcoming race nights that will close out the first half of the 2019 Bullring season. The Chris Trickle Classic - where LVMS pays tribute to one of its fallen stars - follows on Saturday, June 15, and the highly popular Night of Fire will light up the sky with an epic post-race fireworks show on Wednesday, July 3.
Spectators can purchase tickets by calling 800-644-4444 or going online at LVMS.com, and all children 12 and under are admitted free with a ticketed adult. The Bullring concession stand offers great prices, including $2 hot dogs and Coca-Cola products and $3 Budweiser beers.
