Race fans and car enthusiasts will have the opportunity to experience Las Vegas Motor Speedway from behind the wheel during Laps for Charity – Under the Lights on Friday, September 11, from 8 to 11 p.m.

Hosted by Speedway Children’s Charities, the event gives participants the chance to drive their own street-legal vehicles on Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s 1.5-mile superspeedway while helping raise money for local children’s charities.

Participants will follow a Las Vegas Motor Speedway pace vehicle around the track at speeds up to 75 mph, offering a unique chance to experience the same racing surface where NASCAR takes place.

General Admission participants will drive five continuous laps from 8 to 9 p.m. At the same time, the VIP Concierge Package allows participants to drive seven continuous laps from 9 to 11 p.m. VIP participants will also have access to a VIP Lane for limited wait times.

General Admission tickets are $75, while the VIP Concierge Package is $100. All times must be reserved in advance, and registration will not be available on the day of the event.

Drivers must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license. Vehicles must be street legal and equipped with seatbelts for all passengers. Children must be at least 6 years old to ride and must be seated in the back seat.

Participants must complete a Waiver & Release Form before taking part in the event. Motorcycles, trikes (including Slingshots), and ATVs are not permitted.

Laps for Charity – Under the Lights provides an opportunity for automotive enthusiasts to put their vehicles on the same track used by some of the world’s top drivers while supporting Speedway Children’s Charities’ mission to help children in need throughout Southern Nevada.
