Southern Nevada’s automotive community will once again have a chance to see some of the area’s coolest cars, trucks, and specialty vehicles when the South Point Car & Truck Show returns this weekend on Saturday, Aug. 22, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the South Point Exhibit Hall. The annual event, presented by Star Nursery, is hosted by Speedway Children’s Charities Las Vegas Chapter.
From classic cars and custom pickups to semi-tractors, the show will bring together a wide variety of vehicles for fans of all ages to enjoy. Admission is FREE for spectators, giving families and automotive enthusiasts a chance to spend the day checking out unique rides while supporting a great cause.
In addition to the vehicle showcase, guests can enjoy multiple vendors, food available for purchase and plenty of chances to win prizes through the event’s raffles. Fans will also have a say in this year’s awards, with honors presented for Children’s Choice, People’s Choice Car, People’s Choice Pickup, South Point Award and Star Nursery Award.
“The South Point Car & Truck Show is always a great way to bring families, car enthusiasts and our community together while supporting children across Southern Nevada,” said Paulette Anderson, Director of Speedway Children’s Charities – Las Vegas Chapter. “We’re excited to welcome everyone back for another fun-filled day and showcase the incredible vehicles our community has to offer.”
Vehicle registration is $50 per vehicle. The show is open to cars, pickups, and semi-tractors. Gas tanks and diesel trucks must be at least one-quarter full at the time of entry.
Proceeds from the South Point Car & Truck Show will benefit Speedway Children’s Charities, which supports local organizations working to help children in need across Southern Nevada.
