NASCAR fans who can't make the trip to Florida can still have an exciting racing experience on Daytona 500 Sunday at a local casino property.

The South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa is hosting a viewing party Feb. 16 that will include the race shown on big screens, as well as prizes, raffles and giveaways.

Prizes include tickets to Las Vegas Motor Speedway's 2020 Pennzoil 400 NASCAR race on Feb. 23, neon garage passes and LVMS premium items.

The free viewing party for the 62nd "Great American Race" begins at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, and the Daytona 500's green flag is scheduled to drop at 11:30 a.m. Local radio personalities will be part of the festivities at the viewing party.

The Daytona 500 kicks off the 2020 NASCAR season, which continues the following weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. LVMS' first tripleheader of the year begins with the Strat 200 NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series race on Friday, Feb. 21, continues with the Strat qualifying for the NASCAR Cup Series and the NASCAR Xfinity Series Boyd Gaming 300 on Saturday, Feb. 22, and finishes with the Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, Feb. 23.
