5:10 pm - Good Night - That's gonna do it for today's abbreviated coverage from the track. All eyes now shift over to the Dirt Track where the racers of the K&N Series will mix up in the mud in tonight's inaugural Star Nursery 100 Clash on the Clay.
The Xfinity and MENC Series will joint us at the big track tomorrow with the first on-track action scheduled for 11:05 am for the first Cup Series practice.
5:00 pm - Herbst Leads Final Practice - Riley Herbst turned the fastest lap of the day to lead the Truck Series final practice. Herbst upped the ante with a 176.534 mph lap to lead Justin Haley (176.074 mph) and Matt Crafton 176.005 mph). Myatt Snider and Noah Gragson were fourth and fifth fastest.
6th-10th: Chris Eggleston, John Hunter, Johnny Sauter, Timothy Peters and Todd Gilliland.
4:00 pm - Sauter Fastest So Far - Johnny Sauter was the fastest driver in the first session with a lap of 175.718 mph. Myatt Snider (175.213 mph) and Stewart Friesen (175.177 mph) were the only other two drivers to break the 175 mph barrier. Matt Crafton and Austin Hill rounded out the top five.
