It was the 2025 finale for the 10-race Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway short track season Saturday night, and tension was very high with numerous track championships on the line.

Four separate class titles were within ten points with the leaders and double main events would determine the coveted championships at the night’s end.

Emotions were high too for the Bullring officials, led by T.J. and Debbie Clark, who were finishing their five-year guidance of the 3/8-mile paved oval competition. A new group will take over the operation of the Bullring events in 2026.

Thirteen class main events kept the action moving for the loyal Bullring fans who were also part of the “Fan Appreciation Night” and those in attendance were not disappointed with the wheel-to-wheel battles.

The biggest winner of the night had to be local favorite Kyle Jacks of Las Vegas, the longtime Bullring regular who scored two division titles – NASCAR 602 Modifieds and NASCAR Super Stocks. It added to the Jack family legacy at the Bullring that dates three generations.

Jacks had to do battle with his old brother Sam, who was just four points back in the NASCAR 602 Modified points entering the night with two 20-lap features on the docket, and, in the opener, Sam Jacks dominated for an easy win over Kyle following by Brian Williams, multi-time Bullring champion Doug Hamm and Kayli Peterson.

Sam Jacks win closed points to two with the one main event remaining, but it was Hamm, the Bullring legend, who spoiled the full Jacks celebration by taking the second 20-lapper in his popular No. 4X machine. The feature win continues Hamm’s incredible race winning streak at the Bullring with a main win in 25 consecutive seasons.

With Hamm holding the lead, Kyle Jacks quickly moved to second with his brother trying every maneuver possible to get by his brother. After a red flag period on lap five, S. Jacks was penalized to the back of the field for contact with Peterson in turn two causing a yellow flag. That hurt Sam’s chances for make a run at his brother.

Kyle Jacks, with four main event wins this year, finished second to Hamm with third going to Peterson, who won her first Bullring Modified main earlier this year. K. Jacks won the Modified crown by 19 markers over Sam with third going to Peterson followed by Ben Williams, Hamm, Brian Williams and Jimmy Petrie.

“I can’t really say anything right now,” said K. Jacks in the Bullring winner’s circle with Pit Boss. “I’m pretty much stunned with tonight’s events. What a night to win two championships and to battle it out with my brother until the end in the Modifieds. I have so much respect for Sam. We are best friends off the track, but we fight hard on the track. I want to thank so many people with Battleborn Racing, my dad, my family and the crew behind the scenes. I have been coming to the Bullring since I was little kid. But tonight is something special.”

  1. Jacks was victorious in both 15-lap NASCAR Super Stock finales Saturday in his No. 4 stock car to take his win record to nine in 2025 Bullring action. PA announcer Curtis Pilgreen had the right line, “Twice is Nice,” for Kyle’s double wins on Saturday night as K. Jacks defeated veteran Don Geary in both Super Stock mains. K. Jacks bettered Geary’s point total, 588-574. Finishing third in Saturday’s action was Bill Paddack in the first race with Vinny Raucci Jr., placing third in race two.

“This ole No. 4 race car is still fast, and we proved it this year with nine wins,” K. Jack said. “We had some good races this year and everyone in the Super Stock class are great competitors. I just happy to take the track championship this year.”

The most impressive young driver at the Bullring might have been 14-year-old Caitlyn Ford of Las Vegas, who drove her No. 54 car to seven feature wins as a rookie in the INEX Bandoleros division. Those seven victories took Ford to a dominating point lead and his first track title against some strong competition.

On Saturday night, Ford battled pole winner Braxton Garcia on Lodi, Calif., in the early circuits of the 12-lap main event. But a turn two spin by Garcia left the door open for Ford to record another Bullring winner’s circle celebration with her family. Second went to Malcolm Mancias followed by Leila Trimmer, 2024 Bullring champion James Trimmer, Wyatt Layne, Brooke Ford, Austin French, Jeff Conners, Dylan Mancini and Casey Piplic.

“This has been an incredible season for me with a track championship in my first year in the Bandoleros,” said Ford. “I couldn’t ask for a better way to finish off the season with a win on the final night. I hope to move into the Legends Cars class next year if possible. Thanks to my sponsors and family for their support.”

Another close battle came in the NASCAR Factory Outlaw Stocks with teammates Pete Meyer and Michael Miller just four points apart entering the double header races Saturday. Miller, the three-time Bullring champion, knew he need at least one win in the two 15-lappers. And the Las Vegas racer jumped to the lead on lap one and ran his lines perfectly to the checkered flag over Josh Quartaro, Meyer, Dallas Simonette and Chris Jackson.

It was nearly a tie on points with Miller and Meyer entering race two, but Quartaro showed his speed with his No. 43 machine and kept the teammates from winning this time. Meyer jumped to the front early, but Quartaro and Miller took over the advantage and never looked back. At the checkered flag, it was Quartaro over Miller and Meyer, and Miller recorded his fourth track title by just four points.

“This class is always competitive, and we all have a good relationship in the pit area too,” said Miller, who scored six feature wins in 2025. “It was an easy season with Pete leading the points most of the year. I had to come back later this year to close in on the championship. But this title is my fourth at Bullring, and our team worked hard together to battle right down to the final race. Thanks to them and fans for the support. And a special thanks to T.J. and Debbie for their guidance over the years. I was close with Spencer (Clark) when I was little, and he still has a place in my heart.”

The action was extremely close in the two NASCAR Pro Late Model division 30-lap mains Saturday with former Bullring champion Jeffrey Peterson, the California veteran, looking to repeat his Oct. 10 75-lap CARS win at the Bullring.

In the first race, Peterson tracked down pole winner Jaron Giannini to take the lead on lap 16 and open the margin for another strong victory his No. 51 Tri-City Towing stock car, Giannini, last year’s Bullring champion, had to settle for runner-up followed by young Gavin Ray, R.J. Smotherman, Bullring point leader Cody Brown, T.J. Roberts, veteran Johnny Spilotro, Ryan Pannone, Mark Allison and Ashton Leonard.

“It’s always great to come to the Bullring,” said Peterson. “It’s an awesome track for short track racing, and we have been very successful here over the years including last week for the CARS event. The Bullring has great fans too. Kayli and I really enjoy racing here.”

In the second NASCAR Pro Late Model 30-lapper, Brown took the lead on lap three from Spilotro and opened up a nice advantage by the tenth circuit. But he knew Peterson and Giannini world coming from the rear of the field. Giannini took the lead from the outside on lap 16 restart, but Brown’s No. 88X car was strong and grabbed the lead back on lap 23 when Jaron’s machine got loose out of turn four.

Peterson quickly took the second spot and hounded Brown to the finish, as the veteran racer made several moves in an effort to take the inside line. Brown and Peterson even came together several times in the last two laps, but Cody was able to reach the finish before Jeffrey, who wasn’t too pleased after the race.

The victory was Brown’s seventh at the Bullring this year and clinched his first Bullring Pro Late Model track title. Peterson had to settle for second followed by Giannini, Ray, Allison, Smotherman, Pannone, Roberts and Spilotro.

“That was some very hard racing and I’m sure Peterson was upset because I didn’t move over for him,” said Brown. “But that is how I race. I had the lead. I wasn’t about to let him slide under me. This was a great year at the Bullring. I came up from the Legends, and I learned a lot in the Pro Late Models too. I became a race winner this year and now take the track championship. That’s a big thrill.”

With the upcoming USLCI Legend Car Nationals at the Bullring, a host of Legend Car drivers saw action Saturday with 33 entries checked in for the 25-lap feature event. Young Colt Johnson of Houston, Tex., returned to the Bullring from last week’s CARS event and stole the show. Johnson posted quick time in qualifying and led all 25 laps with some wild and exciting action behind him.

Local star Tanner Reif attempted to challenge several times in the race, but it was Johnson all the way to the checkered flag. Reif claimed second followed by Daniel Chrisholm, Nick Woodall, Hunter Jordan, Mitchell Wright, Alex Pate, Dallas Kibbe, Jensen Jorgensen and Jacob Burns.

Travis Boyle also put in a dominating showing Saturday in the NASCAR Mini Stock class with two feature wins and a track championship in his No. 51 Honda sedan. Boyle collected six main events in the eight events for the impressive performance.

Second in the two Mini Stock 15-lap contests were Garrett Wallace with A.J. Hintsala taking third in the first race and Austin Tognotti placing third in race two.

The wild and crazy Bullring Skid Plate racers never disappoint for the fans and Saturday’s 12-lap finale was another popular presentation with 12 cars battling for the top spot, Plus Greg Lee led Dylan Hummel by just eight points for the track championship.

It looked to be a good battle with Lee, Tognotti and Chance Bourke in the midpoint of the event, but Tognotto and Bourke both spun late, and Lee cruised to an easy win over Hummel, Tognotti, Rich McMahon, Christina Harper, Bourke and Connor Hart. The win for Lee was his fifth of the year and secured his first Skid Plate crown by eight points over Hummel.

The 2025 10-weekend Bullring Series proved to be exciting and dramatic at times, especially the battles for the coveted track championships. Now, the champions will be honored on Saturday, Dec. 21, at the South Point Casino and Resort in Las Vegas with the Bullring Banquet. Grab your banquet tickets now.
