NASCAR Cup Series drivers Chase Briscoe and Noah Gragson spent Thursday touring the Las Vegas Valley for a full day of community visits, fan interactions, and media appearances. From reading to second graders and visiting service members to racing fans on the track, the drivers brought the excitement of NASCAR directly to the local community while building anticipation for the race weekend soon ahead.

The day began bright and early as Briscoe and Gragson arrived in Las Vegas before heading out to kick off their tour. Their first stop took them to Aggie Roberts Elementary School, where the drivers spent time with a few second-grade classes reading a children’s book and sharing what it’s like to compete in the NASCAR Cup Series. Students had the chance to ask questions, learn about racing, and hear firsthand about the dedication and teamwork it takes to succeed at the highest level of motorsports.

From the classroom, the drivers headed to Nellis Air Force Base, where they met with the airmen who would pilot the flyover for the Pennzoil 400 and toured the flightline, including an up-close look at the powerful A-10 Thunderbolt II. During their visit, Briscoe and Gragson learned more about the aircraft’s mission capabilities and engaged with service members about the parallels between teamwork in the military and on a NASCAR race team.

The day took on a meaningful tone as Briscoe and Gragson made a heartfelt stop at Sunrise Children’s Hospital. Inside the hospital, the drivers spent time crafting with young patients, sharing laughs and stories while creating memorable moments for the children and their families. They also visited several units throughout the hospital, including the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, where they met with patients and took time to thank caregivers for the work they do every day. The visit provided an uplifting experience for families facing difficult circumstances, highlighting NASCAR’s commitment to giving back to the communities it visits.

“I love getting to come back home and spend time in Las Vegas,” said Gragson. “Visiting the kids was great, and I’m excited to get back out to Las Vegas Motor Speedway and hopefully put on a great show for my hometown.”

The drivers then stopped by KLAS-TV, Channel 8 in Las Vegas, for a media interview, encouraging fans across the valley to attend NASCAR’s return to the track. During the interview, Chase Briscoe praised Las Vegas Motor Speedway, calling the track one of the most underrated venues on the schedule.

“Las Vegas Motor Speedway is very underrated and doesn’t get talked about enough,” said Briscoe. “The corners are super tricky, and it really makes for a great racetrack. Over the years, it’s turned into one of the best tracks we go to on the schedule.”

The evening wrapped up with a high-speed showdown at K1 Speed, where Briscoe and Gragson first learned the track during a practice session before competing head-to-head against local fans in a series of karting races. The event concluded with a meet-and-greet, giving fans the chance to snap photos, collect autographs, and share the track with NASCAR Cup Series drivers.

The day concluded with dinner at The Mayfair Supper Club, where Chase Briscoe and Noah Gragson wrapped up their whirlwind tour of the valley. The iconic Las Vegas restaurant offered drivers and their teams a chance to relax after a full day of community visits, media appearances, and fan interactions, capping off a memorable day ahead of race weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The NASCAR weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway culminates with the Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube on Sunday, March 15. Fans can expect a full weekend of on-track action, entertainment, and fan experiences leading up to one of the most anticipated races of the season.
